Please read with your child each and every day!
Learning to read in one language can be a challenge, nevermind two (or maybe more)! We will need lots of time, patience and practice to build our confidence, strategies and fluency as readers!
Having strong foundational skills in students' first languages will help them to develop these reading skills in French!
We will begin our French Home Reading Program closer to December!
Until then, please set aside some time to read daily with your child in their first language!
